What to enter for each lawn care visit
- Identify your business, customer and service property. Add a unique invoice number, work date and agreed payment due date.
- Describe each charge with its unit, such as one mowing visit, three labor hours or four mulch bags. Use Add line for separately approved work.
- Select a currency code, mark only the taxable lines and enter the applicable rate. Enter only payments actually received in Amount already paid.
- Check the preview. The editor blocks its export buttons while quantities, rates or required invoice details are invalid. Choose CSV for data or Print / Save PDF for the invoice layout.
Why is my balance different from my invoice total?
The total is the charge for the invoiced work plus tax. The balance deducts payments already received. A negative balance is shown as credit / overpayment; it is not silently reset to zero. Do not deduct a deposit in both a line item and Amount already paid.
Can I invoice several properties together?
If your agreement permits it, put the relevant property and service date in each line description. Use separate invoices when each property needs its own approval or payment reference. For recurring maintenance, include the billing period and visit dates, and use a new invoice number.
Why are the export buttons disabled?
Fill in the seller, customer, invoice number, invoice date and due date. Describe every line, enter a positive quantity and non-negative rate with at most two decimal places, and use a tax rate from 0 to 100%. The status message names what needs attention.
What happens to my draft?
Saving is off by default. Enable Save this invoice in this browser only on a trusted browser profile. Turning it off removes this draft’s saved copy. Start blank asks for confirmation before clearing the current invoice. Downloaded files contain the details you enter; keep them secure.
